We will be addressing such questions as: How can we be more in tune with the ways Nature works? How can we stretch our imaginations and our bodies in new ways? How can we have the most playful fun doing it?

LIVING LOCALLY: Neighborhood Economies

  • LIVING LOCALLY: Neighborhood Economies
  • The second show of GREEN VISIONS is with Rick Brooks, the founder of Dade County's "Time Bank" and "Buy Local" organizations in Madison, Wisconsin. After working in Sri Lanka in the Sarvodya movement, he now helps create neighborhood economies where he lives, demonstrating that staying local can help preserve the environment, keep money and services circulating in one's own community and best of all, promote the deep pleasure of neighbors knowing one another.
